Medicare sales: Looking ahead to 2024 with gratitude

Medicare member ID card reissue date

Member ID cards are being mailed to renewing Medicare Advantage (MA), Idaho Medigap and Oregon Medigap plan members with the Dental, Vision and Hearing (DVH) rider. Members should receive their card by the last week of December.

Members can download or order a replacement card through their online member account, or you can download or order a replacement card on their behalf through Producer Center.

Top five tips for getting the most from Producer Center

We’ve received enthusiastically positive feedback about the new enhanced Producer Center experience launched earlier this year.

Here are our top five tips for getting the most out of your Producer Center experience:

  1. Bookmark your log-in page—A secure log-in is needed every time you use Producer Center, so we recommend bookmarking the log-in page for faster access. To find the log-in page, go to the Asuris producer website. Click Sign in to Producer Center. The log-in page will open in a new browser window.

  2. Enroll your clients online—Simplify the application process and get instant access to your clients’ enrollment status when you enroll your clients online. To start a new application, click the Start a Quote/Enrollment link in the top right-hand corner next to your name, then click Enroll.

  3. Access your book of business—You have one-stop access to your clients’ contact and plan information, member ID cards, and doctor, pharmacy and formulary search links, which can help you quickly answer client questions. Click Clients in the left navigation bar, then select Book of Business. Sort using any of the column headers to quickly find a client by name or ID number, or sort a group of clients by location, plan type, effective date and enrollment status.

  4. Export client data using Reports—All your client data can be downloaded as an Excel sheet from Producer Center to use for your own business purposes (e.g., call lists, mailing lists, etc.). Click Reports in the left navigation bar, find Book of Business-Medicare, then click Run Report.

  5. Order or download sales materials—Place a sales literature order directly from Producer Center or access a link to instantly download your forms and sales materials. Click Resources in the left navigation bar. To download materials, select Searchable Forms or select Forms & Documents, and scroll down to Medicare Plan Materials. Click the link for your state to access the Producer Resources Page. To place a literature order, click Literature Orders. Then click the Create New Lit Order link in the top right-hand corner. Use the filters to select the literature needed, enter the quantity and click Add. Once you've added all the materials you want to order, click Confirm Order. The shipping date and UPS tracking number can be found by clicking the Order Number link in your Literature Orders list.
